maintenance.
Steve is no
stranger to the
South Bay
community. He is
a licensed
attorney
specializing in
education and
municipal law,
and is a former
three-term Mayor
and
Councilmember
for the City of
Manhattan
Beach. In 2007,
Steve received
the prestigious
Field
Representative
of the Year
Award by the LAX
Coastal Area
Chamber of
Commerce.
He is a
Manhattan Beach
native and was
first elected in
1992, at the age
of 26, as the
youngest person
to serve as
Mayor and City
Councilmember in
the City of
Manhattan Beach.
From 2002 to
2003, he served
as President of
the Independent
Cities
