Supervisor Knabe joins Supervisors Yaroslavsky and Burke in commemorating the appointment of the Honorable Md. Abu Zafar, Consul General of Bangladesh.

JULY 16, 2007 - Catalina Tour

Supervisor Knabe joined City of Avalon and Los Angeles County officials on a tour of Santa Catalina Island to observe the extensive damage that was caused by a brush fire that started in the interior of the Island. After the tour, he went to Avalon City Hall to thank the City of Avalon and the different agencies and businesses that responded to the needs of the Avalon community during the crisis.

JULY 12, 2007 - Long Beach Prop A Press Conference

Supervisor Knabe spoke at a press conference and presented to Long Beach Mayor Bob Foster $5 million in Proposition A funds to restore dozens of acres of historic wetlands, acquire land to be developed into greenspace linking existing parks, and develop other areas into park space.

JULY 4, 2007 - 4th of July Parade

Supervisor Knabe helped residents of the San Gabriel Valley celebrate Independence Day during the 20th Annual Hacienda Heights Fourth of July Parade. Behind the Supervisor are replicas of tribute banners that will soon be displayed in Hacienda Heights and Rowland Heights honoring local individuals who are serving on active duty.
