Supervisor Knabe joined Congresswoman Jane Harman, Assemblyman Ted Lieu, and El Segundo Mayor Kelly McDowell at the Grand Opening Ceremony for the Douglas Street Gap Closure Project in El Segundo. This $39 million project closed a critical link in the arterial network, provided a transit center, a small park-and-ride facility for both transit and Metro Green Line passengers and improved pedestrian access to the Metro Green Line Douglas Street Station.
