Knabe Statement on New County CEO

Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe released the following statement today on the appointment of William Fujioka as Chief Executive Officer for the County of Los Angeles:

"I have had the pleasure of working with Bill for over 20 years during his various leadership positions within the County and City. He started his career right here in the County, helped lead High Desert Hospital in the Department of Health Services during several critical years, and has over a decade of experience in human resources and working in the County’s healthcare system. He has a proven track record of excellence, leadership, and results. I have no doubt that these attributes and assets of Bill's will continue in his new position overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of Los Angeles County. It is great news to get Bill Fujioka back into the County."
