April Is Healthy Parks Month
The month of April is “Healthy Parks Month” throughout Los Angeles County. The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation implemented the program in response to the alarming number of overweight and unfit children, teen and adults in Los Angeles County.

Program: Nothin But Net 4 on 4 Basketball Tournament |

Description: Ages 18 & under. This program is a 4 on 4 basketball tournament for youth ages 18 and under. Being put on by The American Red Cross and LA County Teens. The cost to participate is $40 per team and includes lunch. All proceeds will benefit the Malaria Initiative to Save Lives in Africa and Asia. |
